Oh my God did they really mispell the word "Soldier" in the headline?!?!

How the hell do you pull that off??  WTF is a "SOLIDER?"

Proofread!!!   :faint:

Jeff

**EDIT** Man there's a slew of 'em!

"...all-expenses paid tour if Iraq."

"...parts for the project came from all corners of the project..."   Huh??

I mean I'm thrilled to see the article in there, but couldn't they have had someone OTHER than the fourth grader write it??  Don and CC.C deserve better, goshdarnit!  :)

Yeah there are some flaws in the article but I'm just happy that you guys got the recognition you deserve for the wonderful thing you guys were able to come together and do.  It’s just nice that an organization (MCG) took the time and the effort to put the information out there.  I feel you though Jeff.  I’m just happy the word is out about the wonderful people who populate this website!  I just wish there were more I could do for you guys.

Don, thanks for making this aware to me.  Prior to reading this, I had no idea it was published with them.  It's a nice little write-up about the whole event and it's great they caught a photo of you with a WTH expression. :grinyes:

Hey Don,

Sorry budy I didn't mean to steal your thunder or spotlight or sound like a tool.  :)  Little stuff like that just erks me.  :)

I'm glad to see it in there - I laugh everytime I go through my PutFile page with my 220 Carlisle pictures.  I always seem to land on the one with you and the Hooter girls.  :)  (Probably good that photo didn't make it into the article, eh?!)

So when you gettin' back stateside?  Are we going to see you at Carlisle '08?  Certainly hope to - as long as Riley doesn't punch me in the gut again.  :)

That was right after "El Presidentie" announced that the members all got together and had that Barracuda restored for me, in that photo I was saying "No" and he was saying "Yes, come up here!" LOL!!!  Great Day I will NEVER forget it!
The funny thing was right before me and my wife Kim were standing outside the Stryker Vehicle and I noticed the color of the e-body under the car cover and I said hey that is my favorite color "Bahama Yellow" EL-5 and she said is that car for sale, I said the "S" word we cant afford that car if its on that stage and under a car cover LOL!!!  We laughed and then my Dad "Nopar" lured me into the Stryker vehicle for what seemed like ever LOL!!!  Then they announced something about c-c.com and I said hey Dad I should go out there to see if they need my help with anything, he said yeah we should go check it out and the rest is history!
