I'd use  Duramix Large Metal Panel Adhesive #4179,all the way around, only spot welds on each corner,this is far more superior than welding, plus you eliminate any chance of rust forming under new skin

I thought i would go ahead and post a few pics here( i also posted in my Long term project thread). I know some of you guys are waiting to see how the roof turned out. i still have to grind welds, but at least this will give you an idea if you want to change out yours.

That really looks good.  May just have to replace mine now.  I know it would look a lot better if I do.  Still in the planning stage so it might have to happen along with new rear quarters, floor pans and trunk pans.  Just to start anyway.  Thanks for the post and seeing that makes me want to replace mine even more.

Just found some nasty spots on mine. Thanks for the input & pics. It looks great. Definately going for the skin now.  :2thumbs:
