Hey Chryco, buy a set of the new 440source heads and bring them down to Carlsbad NM. You can build my '68 440 for me and I WILL be happy to be the guinea pig

If they turn out to be good heads, I know I will order a set in the future.  Just hate to spend the money twice.

I'm guessing then that you actually ordered them.  (Trying to avoid a "here's your sign" response!)  So then maybe YOU'RE the guinea pig?

What motor are you putting these on?  Just outta curiosity...  I should probably know that already though, for as much as I'm on here.  :)

I am pretty sure the heads are going on his 440 powered boat.  It looks ridiculously cool, but I don't have the guts to go 75 MPH in something that has no brakes. :22yikes:

77V-drive, I think we would all appreciate close up photos as well as real world experience with the heads once you get them.

LOL!  Not to mention one of the few situations where you can wreck, by yourself, in a perfectly straight line!

Yes, real world experience would be nice - might I please schedule a test... ...er, drive...

:burnout:  (I guess that's not really the most appropriate icon, is it...)

Thoughts?  Chrycho?  It definitely looks like they could benefit from a porting...  Is it normal for the seats of the valves to overlap like that?

They certainly look pretty...  :)  I'm anxious to see some HP ratings and the like...

Alot of people on Moparts etc... call 440source stuff junk.... but I disagree... It's about time someone makes good aftermarket stuff affordable...  :2cents:

Im sure all the top porters in the country will port the heck out of them..... If there numbers come back high I think people will hush down a little...  :working:

I am thankful that Moparts exists, without it I would not have moved on and found this great site
There is definitely something for everyone at Moparts and there are some great peeps there, its just the overall feel is elitist to me.

Dang, those heads look clean. I would clean up the ports and run'em

Remind those people that most of the ORIGINAL parts in these cars were junk.  Today we're making twice the power with half the engines.  So as long as 440Source is better than 70's factory, you're probably going to be in okay shape!

Eek - straight plugs and CP are those quench chambers? They certainly do not look like my Indy EZs.
