If the 5.0 is a stock automatic, you will win.
Yup,the transmission (AOD) will probably give out.

I used to beat so many "souped up" 5.0's I got tired, and bored of it
I used to tell them to make sure they bring their girlfriends with them, just to add a little more insult to injury  :horse:  :grinyes:
And, yes I had a passenger also......wasn't looking for the 5.0 to add more weight for a disadvantage  :grinno:
 I never went looking for a race.....................wait, that's a blatant lie
What I meant is they always wanted to race my big old muscle car. They looked at it as an easy target.
Ask your girlfriends how that worked out for you  :roflsmiley:

Anyways, good luck on your race  :2thumbs:
If you lose, it's great motivation to do a few more mods.......
If you win, you know she's still got some power to unleash in her old age, and her potential capabilities in the future.
Either way your car wins in the end  :ylsuper:

How did I know that statement would bring out at least one "challenger",(or lack there of) looking to prove their manhood  :roflsmiley:
 Been there.....done that.....moved on

 To quote myself,

they always wanted to race my big old muscle car. They looked at it as an easy target.

Thanks for being a prime example, and validating my statement for me  :swaying:

You guys never give up do you?

 J/K ...........  :lol2:
Seriously, nice Stang you got there. I do have much respect for some of those beasts
But, just stay out of territory you don't belong in, and cannot compete with  :grinno:

 Just kidding again..... :roflsmiley:
I'm sure that little thing is no joke  :burnout:

Hedkace. Nothing said on the net is gonna bother me much, besides this site needs a little drama every once in awhile and it was a decent excuse to post pics of my one and only Ferd. What's really funny is the Ford guys complaining about me ruining such a rare car. I bought it new in '93 and it's one of 4993 Cobra's built and occasionally I will inform them how many of my Cuda's were built to put it in perspective. They tend to get real quite and leave after that. But you have to admit, it is kinda fun picking on Vipers.   :stirpot:

How dare you take the high moral road, when I'm looking to be a jack@ss  :stomp:
What's up with that?  :dunno:

You mean I can't even get under your skin a little bit  :( ..........bummer  :walkaway:

All in good fun  :grinyes:
 Much respect N96
This is definitely one place that I have seen people put up pics of Camaros/Chevelles(is that spelled right?)/Firebirds/Stangs etc.... and it is always received with respect......(for the most part)  :2thumbs:

By the way, sorry to get off topic mikerallye
Now get out there and destroy that helpless stang like we all know you will  :roflsmiley:
Being careful is the name of the game though  :2thumbs:
