I see now that the first picture makes the pan look a lot larger than it really is (wide angle lens).  Here's another shot that's more like what it really looks like.

Rev, I have a quick question for you.  What percentage of gloss black did you use for your rear end, K-member, and gas tank?  (like satin black or gloss)

That gray underside is really mean and serious looking
There was an officer in the Air Force that had a '71
challenger with that Air Force gray camouflage on the
topside of the car with black following the body line
all around the bottom. It sat low with satin mag wheels
and a black wing and airdam.

1980 or '81

But I digress............again
Your car is looking righteous 8) 8)

Thanks guys!

Street, we used SEM gloss black with a Diamante clear coat.  We've used it on all our suspension, gas tank, trans, etc. for a good contrast against the gray since we didn't go with the body color underneath.

360...you always make me laugh!  I love your sense of humor  ;D  I don't think the car has ever been called righteous before!! ;D ;D

Thanks for the information Rev.  Now the big question, "Would you recommend going with gloss black to give it that really sweet glisten or settle for satin black 30% gloss?"
I too am looking forward to a glance at it when we're at Carlisle. 8) ;D :P

We're only going with the gloss for the body things like suspension, trans, torsion, etc.  The SEM gloss really makes those parts look like they were powder coated.  It's not quite as shiny as when the camera/flash hits it.  For the engine bay stuff like the master cylinder, windshield wiper motor, etc., we're going satin black.  I guess it's all depends on your preference.
