I saw the car a couple of weeks ago, but it was in storage and I didn't get a real good look at it.  I was there picking up a pair of door panels.  The owner works at Aloha.  From what I saw it looked very nice, but I would certainly want to look it over, since all I can confirm is that it does exist and it looked very nice on casual observation.

That seems awfully cheap for that car.

looks like someone didn't spend a few more hours removing blower motor, door latches, strikers and few other things before painting ,also missing few rubber pieces in door jambs, other than that looks decent

My good friend John from high school days owns the 71 Cuda you are asking about.  I was there they day he brought it home in like 1995-6 or so. I have had a couple rides in it also over the years.
It is a very clean, solid car, numbers matching, not show quality, but it wouldn't take much to bring it to that level. He had it listed last year at this time for $49,995 on Cuda world.  If anyone has any other questions please let me know.
If anyone needs his number it is 262-626-2902, and ask for John Bolek

Hi guys. New to the board. I'm the owner of the Cuda. 73Magnum told me about this site and that there were some questions about the car.
I bought the car in 1998, put some of it together, and bombed around in it a little bit.  As exvelocity said, yes when they did the paint job, they just sprayed everything. I believe the car was painted in 1994. It is not an Aloha quality paint job; it is driver quality. At this point in my life, I just do not have the time or money to get this thing to be a show car. I have to much other things and other cars I want to get done.
People tell me to ask about $80K for the car, well, last year I had it advertised for $49,900 and I got one phone call. This year I have it advertised for $39,900 and still not one person has come to look at the car yet although I've gotten quite a bit of emails and phone calls.  So I guess I don't know what to think.
Maybe I should ask higher to generate interest? I just feel that $39,900 is a fair price. This car does have odds and ends that need to be done that is why I don't think it is a big dollar car at this point.
If anyone has questions or wants more pics of the underside, let me know. jbmotor@gmail.com
Thanks, John
