Wow, looks like a really clean car, wish I had the extra money, i'd love to have it. Any particular reason why you passed on the car or was it just not what you were after?

Kinda odd it has a 70 style console, and 71+ shifter.   :clueless:

Also - there is no heater pipes protruding from the firewall. Did these things come heater delete? And the heater connections on the motor have a bypass hose from one to the other

:clapping: Gotta love those Sassy Green cars.  It does seem to be a fairly solid car, has it had both quarter skins replaced or just one of them :clueless:

Early 71 E bodies used both 70 consoles and 70 seats with the metal side covers, I have had a few this way.

I liked the car for the price, but only if it were in great condition. Plus I got a bit more money and wanted something to customize. Cutting up that car would have been blasphemy. If it were in incredible condition, I likely would have bought it and waited for another car to hack up.

Now my "hack up" car is almost complete.

I really like that color.

You had a picture of the gas filler tube with a dent on it. Mine has the same exact dent. Anybody know why they are like that?

Do you mean Formula One driver Mika Salo's ex car? It has some issues.
