What's a 73 Cuda project worth?
« on: January 16, 2008 - 11:34:04 AM »
I had someone offer to buy my Cuda project, and was just trying to determine a fair price.

1973 BS23 Cuda.
100% Complete but disassembled.
340 4-speed. 45k miles.
All numbers matching.
Just had the underneath sandblasted and primered. Looks very good.
From what I can tell, it needs the following...
Patch panels in front portion of lower quarters.
    Drivers floor pan
    Patch on inner fender
Rear frame rails have a few small holes so should be replaced.
Roof repair (Have a spare roof to cut panels from).
Repair of minor rust spots on hood, doors, etc.
All original body panels are 90% rust free.
Grill is in EX shape. Bumpers are very nice. All trim is very nice.
Interior pieces are in great shape, but dash pad and front seats have cracks.
Nice fender tag, but couldn't find a build sheet anyplace.
Tag numbers are: N42, R35, V6X, EN2, J54, M21, M25, M31, M88, N41, V1X, U, B41, C56, G36, J52, FE5, A6X9, 000, 927, 090527, E55, D21, BS23, H3B

So would anyone like to hazard a guess?

Was it a running driving car before you took it apart?

The guy I bought it from, bought it from the original owner. It has 45k miles, and he said that it was a running, driving vehicle before he took it apart. He still had the original title in the original owners name. Being from PA, I had to have him get the title into his name, then transfer it to me so that I could obtain a PA title.
