Yea, I'm in Atlanta and we got a good bit of it too.  I lived in missouri for a few years and its funny how people freak out here over an inch or two. LOL    At least I got off early from work because of it.   :ylsuper:

What part of GA?  (Or did I miss that?)

Just west of Atlanta, not to far from Oldschool  :2thumbs:

The weatherman said we could get some more on Saturday.    :jumping:

Nice to see a little snow down GA. way but from what I've seen you guys could use alot more snow and rain to ease your drought situation. I've seen some pictures of a lake down there somewhere, where the boat ramp was about 30 feet away from the water.

Very true, we could use a bunch more.  Allatoona Lake may be the place in the picture you saw.  It is very low and at one point you could almost jump over the little stream that was left.  The funny thing is that there is grass starting to grow in the open areas.  :grinyes:

Well we have not had snow for a while. We are getting chilly though. Todays high temp at noon is -10* with the wind chill of -30 to -40 below. It's not going to get better soon. It's supposed to go from chilly to actually cold this weekend!

Does that mean next time I come down I can stay at your place instead of the in-laws...?  :)

Minus 10 at high noon is "CHILLY"? And it's getting colder?  :faint:  Our local weather say's it's going to be "cold" tonight, down to around 30 degrees.  :o

I don't know how you guys do it.

I am originally from southern IL myself and it is really strange to see how people act when they say snow here.  Just have to watch out for all the ones that have never driven on snow........and now they say we may get some more tonight or in the morning.

We pay for it in the summer. 95 to 100 degrees is common. It got up to 113 one day last year when I was working in the central valley. 8)

That's my down time in the Challenger. I don't think even A/C would help.

The difference is you don't have the humidity that we have on the East coast. 100* in 15% humidity is alot nicer than 90* in 50% humidity.  :eek4:

I lived in Augusta back in the mid to late 70's and it snowed once.  Being a Dupont brat (father worked for Dupont at SRP) it was funny to see the schools close down for a coating of snow.  Being from Philly if it snowed you were still sent to school.
