I've done it a couple of times.  It is just part of being a citizen.  I know if I were being tried I would want a jury.

Loool no that's how the Google ads work...they pertain to whatever the subject is
If this was a post about dating for example the ads would be something like Find sexy singles in your area now !!

Nope, but I was hauled in to be an extra in a line-up when I was younger(they needed another blonde haired teen). Maybe we need another topic..."ever been in a line-up".

Here I go again. Summoned again and sat around waiting and waiting today. I go back again tomorrow and wait some more. My boss just told me if I do get selected, I get full pay while I do it. It's a civil law suit if they do pick me.

I've been summoned three times. Twice pertaining to local issues, once under Federal jurisdiction - bank robbery. I love the entire process.

If you are supposed to be at work during any part of your jury duty duties then you should be paid for that time by your boss. At the very least he should make up the difference between what jury duty pays and what you would regularly be paid. Where I work they just pay the full amount and the niggling little amount that the state or federal pays is over and above that.

I've been called three times.  The first I was called you served for a month.  I was picked thfor the Ted Bundy case here in DE.  This case was about a guy who killed 13 working ladies along Rt 13 in Wilmington.  I got off the case because I worked for DuPont at the time.  And DuPont was used to test the fibers in the carpet, plus it was a DuPont carpet.  While I escaped that case, I ended up on a civil case that last three weeks learning how to grow mushrooms  :faint:  Now New Castle County calls you for one day and if you are not pick by 1:30 then they send you home and give you a waiver from duty for two years.  Lower DE still has to serve one month.

2 times for me and I got out of them.  One time was for a certain brand name vender that got in serious trouble 28 yrs ago or so. Fedral grand jury, but I didnt go. I said I was out of town. I wont mention the name either. He is a good person today.

The second one they kept serving me and sending the summons out of state to my office, but I was on an emergency call out job
