I have 2 73's and the reset knobs are straight and have a rectacgular slot which matches the stud on the speedo. I would have to guess you have something to fit the 70-71's.  :dunno:

The speedometer knob on 72-74 rally gauges is made out of plastic and is chromed. It comes straight out and is press fit on those serrated teeth from the reset shaft. The metal long knobs you received are for the clock only and are held in place with a barrel screw.
70-71 have the same but shorter knobs with the same barrel screws to hold them in place.

:2thumbs: I found the correct knob at RT Engineering, and ordered one last night.  I'm talking with PG Classics to see why their auction advertises theirs as a set, yet their picture shows 2 identical clock reset knobs.  I wish I had done my research before I ordered theirs, but I did need one anyways.  At least it's only a $25 oops, and now I have a spare.  Oh well, live and learn.  :ylsuper:

PG Classics will take them back without questions.
I have returned items to them with no questions asked.

I still need the clock reset knob, so I will hold onto that.  I guess my only beef is that they advertise them as a set, when in reality it is just 2 clock knobs.  I checked their store/website for the correct speedometer knob, but could not find anything.  They have asked me to email them the pictures I have posted above, so we'll see what they say.  As a side note, the clock knobs I did receive are very nice and fit perfectly, so I am happy with them.  Maybe they will refund 50% if I send one back?

For more reference here's a pic of my '70 reset knobs. They're about 1 5/16 end to end.

Thanks.  I can see that they are definitely shorter than mine.  It's interesting that they are identical for 70-71, but each knob is different for 72-74.

I seen this in PG Classic's catolog and noticed they were wrong and thought maybe just the picture was wrong. RT-eng is the only one I have seen correct except for a few on ebay now and then. I got some parts from PG Classic that would not fit and your right I was never able to get me postage back from them and I have never bought nothing from them again.
