Anyone ever done something they shouldn't have walked (or crawled) away from?

Sorry, "B." made me  :roflsmiley:

It of course was a while ago at this point, but still, glad you're okay.  Did you manage to keep all of your appendiges?  And thanks for not photographing the driver's seat bottom....  I'm sure it was a little nasty!

It was a result of Stop sign theft. I was fresh out of boot camp and took a little road trip to see some friends. I had beers with those friends, maybe 5 or so. We had a 12 pack and there were three of us and we all drink. Two hours later I am half way home and went through the intersection out in a rural area near Hwy 3.
I don't remember getting T-boned by the big rig or anything 5 minutes prior.
I woke up in the entrance to a graveyard still strapped in the seat which was bolted to the buckled floor pan. Seat belts save lives people.
I had alot of glass in my face and a dislocated shoulder. I'd like to find the punks that stole that stop sign.

 :22yikes:  Glad your ok!

Yep, seat belts do save lives.  If not for my seat belts I would've gone through the windshield of my brother's friend's Granada.  :grinyes:

Hey, I just realized after looking at these pictures for 5 years I never noticed they cut the door handle out to get the drivers door open. Like I said I was out till right before they put me on the gurney. Must have been 15- 20 minutes. At least that's how far away the hospital was.

Anyone else have a "and they walked away" moment?

I
have walked away form a Bunch of wrecks , never my fault , , I parked my Warlock backwards ontop of my duster which was on a trailer at 55 MPH , the trailer started to sway & spun the truck backwards!
numerous other wrecks like when my Towbar broke & the Duster slammed into the back of my Ramcharger at highway speed spinning bot otu , I had my locksmith van over on 2 wheels & scraped up the trim rings but got it back
Flipped a dump truck once when the PTO ram broke off the chassis

BTW I have never worn my seatbelt

Sorta, but nothing compared to what you did, go-fish!  This was like 20 years ago.

I was leaving Montreal during a snow storm, only the right lane of highway 10 was clear, left lane covered in about less than 1" of fresh snow.

I went to pass the guy in front of me and the back end spun around so I ended up passing this guy backward doing about 70mph.

As I was spinning and going into a gully, I just thought about those huge concrete overpass supports in the gully between the opposing lanes of traffic.

Thank God I didn't hit anything, just broke off a driving light despite going into a gulley.  2 guys in a Camaro pulled over and helped me out of the gulley... I think that's why I sorta like Camaros now...
