    That's almost 1/3rd of my retirement   geesh    They said the new challengers are suposed to be a tad over 37k :2thumbs: but marked up

    Did you see that top fuel car sell for cheap? they are sure off the money of last years auction.

    So, who the heck is Ron Pratt?  I see him at these auctions all the time, and it seems like he's always dropping $2+ Million every year.

    looks to me also that there is not as many of the same people there as last year like the ferrrari guy and the guy with the T on his hat.I looked at the russo-steele auction and they seem to be getting better prices and they have a reserve on thier cars and BJ dont so i would thin people will be going to the other auctions instead of BJ.Ron Pratt puts BJ on the map it seems every year with spending all the money he does.

    I was puzzled that the tan hemi cuda was only 150 k-nice car even with the color. A nice orange-red? 70 challenger hemi clone went for 70k......ok prices are down, maybe finally down to earth. I was disappointed about a few things again at BJ
    first-10 minutes on the Bo John Schneider charger which only got 400 k then 1 minute on a beautiful 57 chevy convert they couldn't get off the block fast enough.

    second-when a car doesn't get a high price they stop the auction and cry about being under price-hey isn't that why we bid on  a car and go to an auction in the first palce to find a deal?

    third-a bidder was the highest bidder on the first 08 Challenger and Craig Jackson outbid him saying if the bidder bid again he wouldn't outbid him and he did. Who cares if it was for Charity-the auction ceo should not bid against a client.
    -the problem with a reserve auction is no one sold their cars years back-now no one will take the cars to BJ. ha ha

    I agree with everything except the sale of the Challenger. What he said was if you bid 400k I will not bid against you again. The guy went to like 385 but in his defense I dont think he heard what Craig said. I think he really wanted the first production car as it will never go down in value although it will be a LONG time till its worth more than 400k.

    I think the whole B-J auction has become a circus event.  What's up with 18,000 (or so it seemed) Shelby Mustangs up there this year?  And, they just seemed to pick and choose what cars they wanted to help bid up.  On a side note, what was the deal with the lady begging for people to bid on the Challenger?  I understand it was about the charity, but to me it kind of made the Challenger look like a 2nd rate car that needed help.
