Yup.  Bought a set of polished ceramic tti's at the mopar nats.  Took 3 months to get them, but I guess it was worth the wait.  The fit is good, and no troubles so far.  Defintely could feel the difference over the manifolds.

Only problem is they cost me so much I couldn't afford the rest of my exhaust.  Ran with used glasspack header mufflers for the rest of the season.  I'm not sure, but I get the feeling my neighbors don't like me anymore.  Can't figure it out... :clueless:

No I'm running stock manifolds on both my Cuda and Challenger but my next project will have headers on it.

I modified some hedman shorties last year with a ball/socket flange and a couple of O2 bungs welded in. They will not be like full length headers but they sure do leave a lot more room and have much better ground clearance than the last headers I had on my car.

Nope. I had some cheap headers that required shift linkage mods to install, bottomed out alot closing off a pipe and caused me to go through a few starters. Now I have 340 manifolds.

tti x 2 here. :2thumbs: An engine is just a big oven, let it breath and cool it. Plus you get better sound, extra power and better MPG, far too many reasons not to run them in my opinion. Unless you're going for a concourse correct car which in that case you probably wouldn't drive it anyway so coolness wouldn't be a factor lol.

Bro, you stole my words!  I got to agree with Carl!  Unless your doing a concoruse resto or somthing close to that fasion then I got to say go with Headers.  Neil always says go with tti; me and Neil had a big lesson at Carlisle on what the difference between say Hooker v tti were and there is a HUGE engineering difference.  But if you cant afford them now save up and in the mean time just get you some JEGS brand slap a few extra coats of heat treated paint on it and go!

Got headers on my 340, put 'em on in 1976.  They are still performing fine.  I have the receipt kicking around here somewhere, think they cost about $250.  Not sure what brand they are, now I know I'll go find that receipt cuz its bugging me.

one of my manifolds has cracks all over, so after restoration I `d like to add hooker super comp. instead of repaired stock.  :burnout:

Hooker Super Comps to 2 1/2" pipe to Flowmasters. My neighbors probably don`t like me too much when I fire it up to leave too early in the morning!Spend the money for the Super Comps,TTI`s or some other OVER the steering linkage design or otherwise you lose a lot of ground clearance, unless it`s 100% stock resto no issues.

Yup to the headers.  Mine are TTI.  Here is a pic from when I put them on, before I added the 6 pk set up.

My 318 had headers on when I bought it.  I have no idea what kind they are, but MAN they make the car sound fantastic.

I'd take pictures, but all the rust distorts the camera's focus....

On my stock 340 I have the stock exhaust manifolds.

If I eventually drop in a bigger engine I think I'll go headers.
