Stay away - that is just a one legger diff with welded spiders. And the guy selling it is an idjit. There are no 8-3/4 Dana's

Cheap way to get both tires to spin. The outside wheel will drag when you go around corners. Beat on it, and it will eventually come apart. Stay away from it.

That means that they welded the spiders or something together.  It also means that you can never get it apart also and can weaken the unit.

  Great if you want to use on dirt, an old speedway trick, perfect for sand dunes, but definitly not for a street car.   :22yikes:

Works on asphalt cars too, so long as you are turning left and have tire stagger to make up the difference in rotation.

Actually, for $150 that isn't a bad buy. You get a good case and good ring/pinion. Take out the welded carrier and throw it away, replace with a a sure grip, and you've got a nice third member for around $500.
