Yikes!! :eek7: Those are some meats up front. Just curious but why would you need/want to run that big a tire up front? I'm obviously not "picking on you" lol just curious. Isn't it just adding weight? Just looks perhaps? :dunno:

Its really for looks and if there is going to be a considerable sacrifice of driveability, will scale back on that to something more conventional. The 6.375 BS I am considering would most likely require some sort of spacer/adapter.

I know the XV cars run 275's up front on their L2 systems but they have a modified suspension and steering system that changes a lot of the geometry in the wheel well. I REALLY want the look but if its going to mean reduced turning radius, white knuckling at every unexpected bump, or undue stress on the PS pump, I'll be okay with a 265 or thinner tire.

I see, nothing wrong with doing it for looks mate, would also catch plenty by surprise at car shows bending down having a quick look at the tires sidewall seeing "275s", they would definitely take a second look lol. I have seen a 70 Challenger with 265s on a stock suspension set up so I know it can be done, big tire for sure though.

Best of luck with it mate, you're car looks sick.

I have the MOPAR super stock spring relocation kit which gives me an extra .80 inches of spring clearance.  I see a lot of references to the Dr Diff 1 1/4" kit.  I have tried and tried to find their website with no luck.  Does anyone know their website address ??
Thanks-

Those 275s would look sweet, thinking of just running 255s on my car up front next time i get tires. I have 235s now...but i really dont want to have to crank my t-bars up to clear. I want the front lower   :grinyes:

yeah, I am wanting to drop mine as well in the front. I used the wheelrite tool and I cant see anything deeper than about 4.5" BS with the 17" wheel. I was thinking I could get 5.5 back in there but the rim will contact the UBJ, the UCA, and the TRE when locked. I'll have to take more measurements and consider this as I don't want the front wheels tracking outside of the rears.

I have 17s with 4.5" bs up front. With the t-bars at where they are on my car, i'm actually pretty close at full lock to lickin the fender well up front. Just for what its worth Mike
