Tor Red Cudas please!!!
« on: January 19, 2008 - 06:56:05 PM »
Please show me some Tor-Red AAR and Shaker car 'cudas.
I had been planning on one color but you know how when you think about a paint color for so long you kind of get tired of it? And all cars look good in red.

I don't think this is the red you are talking about, but it's a beauty anyway.

The one in back of the subject of the picture looks good. I am also looking for other colors than stock. Maybe just a red that isn't RED  red. In between Orange and Red. I am wondering if an Orange or Yellow basecoat and red sprayd on top would do. I would have to aska paint guy.
But otherwise keep the Tor-Reds coming.

I like the way the red on the 70 convertible cuda "pops". The color I do go with won't be an exact code of the OEM color. I am sort trying to see if red looks good on the body.
I have to say it does. I have it narrowed down to a red color (of all the reds and oranges the Tor Red is the hue I like) and a gray-ish, graphite, hint of gold color that is on a current model who's brand will remain nameless.
Thanks for the colors folks, the red convert I will keep on file.

Hey Go-Fish,

Did you want Rallye Red or Tor Red buddy.

I don't know which color. I remember seeingTor-Red in a mag once and it wasn't too orange and it wasn't too red. just right. I love the way the color looks in the pic of the red convertible 6packCuda sent but it may be different in sunlight. I will more than likely have a custom mixed color or go with a color that is an OEM paint from a current model.
Thanksfolks for the pics.

Tor-Red is simply the Plymouth name for Hemi Orange which is what Dodge called it. They're the same color (EV2).

Any of the pics above which show a '70 with seats the same color are of FE5 Rallye Red cars.
