Hey guys, :2thumbs:

Made a request for the recall wheels to see what the 17" look like against the 15" wheels.  These 17" recall wheels would look sweet, for feet ,with the right meat, I am seriously thinking of ordering them for my Barracuda.  Red line tires would just finish them off too. :chatting:

Did it have something having to do with the wheels loosing up and falling off?  :clueless:

The 17" wheels would be a great way to get extra room for big brakes yet look like old school stock while doing it. The only bad thing is they were recalled so for the most part they are few and far between on the road. I also heard there was a Mexican built version of the wheels that has a "D" shaped lug hole instead of the round lug. It was supposedly produced for years over there if memory serves correctly.

These wheels were never available new in 1969 in 17" :smilielol: They have only recently been remade and are offered in a 17" along with other sizes, they are called recall wheels because Chrysler recalled them for having a problem with them for some reason, so just a name that has stuck.

These are available new.......................... :2thumbs:

Where did you here about a Mexican D shaped version :clueless: you have got me curious now. ;)
