It is a factory 440 sixpack car and came as you see it,

If it's a factory 440 6 car why aren't the rear leaf spring hangers boxed :clueless:

To the original question, If I had the money I'd buy a done car while values are in check and add to my investment portfolio!!

I don't know the rule of thumb with torque boxes on 70 B bodies, maybe Scott Smith will chime in, but I don't know if any 70 B body v code cars had them?  The Bee is a real V code car, if you notice, it is also a 22" radiator car as it is coded for an open 3.23 rear end.  There are 2 buildsheets with the car.  I have a V code 4 speed Superbird that has a SPD 7 days after this car that also does not have torque boxes.

I have seen an original V code Roadrunner without the torque boxes.  I don't know if they all came without them, but at least one did.

That's exactly what I was thinking and you are better at putting it in words. Time is a major problem with me and my cars. Maybe I will have enough socked away to do the resto and have perhaps $25-30,000 for another car. I really want another 68 GTX, my first car. What do you think? Only other problem is storing another one considering my 4 car is completly full.  :dunno:

Sorry, can't help you here.  Never had that particular dilemna.  Right now I don't have much more than $75 in my car fund much less $75K :violin:

But, I guess it would really depend on how attached you are to that particular car.  If it's one you've always dreamed of doing, don't sell it.  If you do, you may end up kicking yourself sometime down the road...
