I am hearing yo my brother...............

I build hotrods and have always firmly beleived a Ford should be in a Ford, a Chev should be in a Chev, and a Mopar belongs in a Mopar but can enhance the performance of both the other two if fitted........ :smilielol:

I have always loved that Panel truck of yours, it is awesome. :woohoo:

Nice stuff guys…

I have an EFI plumbing question; should I run the pump line to the rail and then to the regulator or pump line to the regulator and then to the rail? Am I thinking carb plumbing too much?

Or; does it not matter that much, am I over analyzing the whole thing?

It looks like on most of the high end stuff they run a line to both sides (one on each side) and then out to the regulator. I was thinking just looping it around to the other side. I am thinking they do that for heat and increased flow but on a 500-horse street motor, that should not matter.

Thanks

Run the pump to the rails in series OR parallel then go the the regulator, then return line, on a RETURN-LINE system.

Regulator should be after the injectors for sure.

Thats what the OE's do, and also what aeromotive recommended as well. I ran the feed line to the rails via a Y block then to the regulator and return line.

Thanks I got it now  :faint: i think ..........  I do understand, just took a while I had to draw it out and forget about cab plumbing.  :2thumbs:

I will start with the stock rails however then change them over to a complete loop system and use a y block to feed both sides.

My breaks arrived today also so look for lots of stuff to change next week (after the powertour) :woo:

I run them in series.  That way you get bot the feed line and return line on the firewall side.

On Mopar's 6.1L billet fuel rail, the feed runs into the regulator, then feeds the injectors with a return line at the enf of the rail.  For the newer cars the return is plugged of as they are a dead head system with no return.  This is the fuel rail that Mopar offers for these types of transplants.
