    Another question-when you are putting in a custom set up like this, what is the procedure to level everything? Do you level the car front to back and then the engine/transmission level front to back or vertical on the harmonic balancer before you determine where the crossmember should hold the transmission (level, angled up/down). I'd think it's somewhat critical? Not sure....

    Great project. Please update the install. Which 4-link coil set up is going in?

    I love those Nitto's. Very aggressive tread and you gotta love the steamroller size of the rear meats   :drool:

    Ok little update  :bananasmi
     I received my new wheels on Tuesday, they are Billet Specialties  slg 23 18x11 with 285/40’s(11 ½  x 27) in the back 18x8 245/40 (25 ¾ x 9 ¾ )  for the front I was going to do 9’s on the front but chickened  out due to being to close on clearance.  So that’s the technical stuff  :blah:




    These babes are shinny its hard to get a good picture the back lip inside the wheel is even polished they also installed the valve stem on the inside the wheel instead of on the outside or in the center.  :bigshades:

    I have to finish my rear end swap and trans install to see how they look mounted to the car sitting on the ground but so far the look great!

    Well after the 727 died back in May, I spent most of July on and off working on the 6-speed swap.  Waiting on parts (over 4 weeks for a flywheel) ordering stuff, sending stuff back and forth that needed changed or should have been sent the first time, it was maddening at times but at last it’s in and drivable.  I say drivable because I still need a front-end alignment for the Alterkation but now at least I can get her in and start enjoying driving instead of wrenching.

    Well sort of, I still need to put the carpet and seats in work out all the little bugs and stuff. Install my new rubber bumpers…  What a long ordeal, a swap not for the average do-it yourselfer in my opinion.
    I will get some pictures and some info up later I just wanted to give a little update on the progress.
