    I need to choose between the hemi 71 style or the srt 71 style.
    I guess I will post a pole sometime and see what comes of it.  :dunno:

    Scott, I like the SRT, but it needs something.  I think the bottom line needs to finish under the "SRT", it just looks empty down there.   :dunno:

    If I go with the hemi in the back I will put srt on the fender.

    If I go with the srt on the back I will put hemi on the hood.

    Wow, I was wondering when someone would pick up the Challenger 6 speed.  Way to go.

    Just got caught up on your build, nice job.  I was hoping to do the same thing on my 'Cuda, but work has been cutting deep these days....lol

    Did you get the transmission from the Chrysler dealer?

    Yes, they had the part on hold why production caught up with demand. I suppose closing the plants for a month helped me out. My dealer had to get the zone manager to order it for me.  :bigshades: I was planning to use the keisler tko 5- speed but after reading about all the improvements made to the 6060 I figured it would be a better swap with my 6.1. I will probably do a separate thread on the tranny install (after I collect the rest of the pars)with all my notes and photo bucket pictures so they won’t disappear.

    With any luck I won’t need to mod the tunnel too much.   :22yikes:

    I'm hoping to do the TR6060 also. Plan on modifying the tunnel and crossmember :bigsmile: Are you going to use the Quicktime bell housing or the factory? Big block dart has a long thread going on this.

    Could you PM me with the approximate cost? If not I understand. I know what they go for used. Tremec is coming out with the same transmission called the T-56 magnum which will have the universal T-56 flange/bolt pattern at the front.

    Great buy.

    I am going to call quicktime on Tuesday I have ordered the factory bell housing from Dodge but if the quicktime will work, I can keep the starter on the driver’s side instead of moving it to the factory correct passenger side for the new trans. :o

    My dealer sold it to me for $2800.00 they said list is like $3800 or something like that.  :drunk:

    I did not know they were changing the name of the trans it might be a better swap for shifter selection and drive shaft attachment but I am impatient and didn’t want to wait any longer to get started on setting it up.  :crazy:

    Looks good,

    Is there a slip yoke on the tailshaft? I know that is the only difference between the viper trans and the LX, one has a bolt on yoke the other is a slip yoke.
