    Are the powers that be listening?
    The pics I put in my post under the members restoration are all gone, but a scant few. Some I don't even have on disc anymore because of a unexpected hard drive crash  :swear: :banghead: :pullinghair:

    That's happened to me more than once. Now I'm in the habit of burning the valuable ones to CD.

    Yup, it's happened to me too, definitely sucks. Luckily I got 90% of my hard drive data back.
    Now I make it a routine to save my photos and files to a disc or card every month or so.

    Yep, now I have an external 300 gig backup that I save everything to.
     Also this week I was able to recover 137 gig that I thought was lost forever on one of my old hard drives  :woo: :woohoo: :woo:

    No problem R/T, this is all good info. You know you're 300 gig backup is still a drive, I'd still be copying to a permanent media, CD's and DVD's are so cheap these days.

    I also run a slave drive, and copy to that also.
    Three chances to crash   :lol: :bricks1:
     You know, you are right though, I really should copy to cd.
