Removing B&M shift kit and adding TCI StreetFighter Valve Body

I'm removing B&M shift kit, and adding TCI StreetFighter valve body. I need to replace old "stock" valve body, as it's hard to move the shifter (yes I have checked the linkage). So my quistion is are all the springs, washers, etc removed from the 727 trans, that I have to remove for the TCI valve body. So I can simply just replace the vavle body? I'm asking since I could not find an instruction sheet for the B&M Shift kit.

Whats going on here, and what is this about a Mod Top........................... :bananasmi
Widing'cuda has his 'Cuda parked in a garage with lots of cool cars, and he's promised to let me come along to visit his 'Cuda, and maybe have a little sideways glance at the rare cars parked there. But if he forgets, then he could get a lot of hippie flower-power for his 'Cuda as a birthday present instead of what he really really really want. Some of his friends are pooling together for a birthday present, and I'm in charge of that. I'm also totally unscrupulous, and widing'cuda needs to be reminded of that.

Sorry hemiken, no Mod Tops. It's mostly old cars that I'd like to have a glance at, fifties and older. Widing'cuda got his 'Cuda stored among some nice cars, various euros as well as american iron.
I hope that I can take some pics of them.


Hopefully, all this bumping of widing'cudas question will lead to an answer of his question, otherwise I'm probably in danger of a real lugubrious birthday present later this year.

If you are swapping the whole VB you should be fine. The main thing you need to make sure of is that the step in fig 10 is already done,if not,do it. You can block the accumulator in fig 12 also if not done already.

Ok, thanks man.
I'll be doing this in late March, just wanted to check out what I need to do. So I was prepared when I was going to swap the VB's. I'm replacing my headers and starter in the same time. So things will go smoother, I hope...
