The difference between you using it and a ricey using it is that you have standards. You wouldn't use it to show off or whoop up on a car that was lower powered than your own.

That, and the fact that your car is a slick Mopar, not a plastic, sticker coated POS.

I'd say nitrous would probably be your best option for quick, cheap hp.
