NZ, I don't think it'll be receiving anymore coats of primer after he's finished up getting all of the holes filled with primer. He used an epoxy-based primer with self-etching additives to get into the minor pits and adhere everything well. As for the time, he's just going to paint a few selected areas, so technically, the entire paint job wouldn't be complete until I get some more $$$ and finish up the rest of the bodywork. It's been in the shop for three weeks now. That's with one side of the car done in the first week, the passenger side that required more work, then the driver's side and the small holes here and there in the following week. Considering the amount of work done, I don't think it took that long at all.
