I don't know BigMike.  We were going to have to do the same thing with our SE emblems where the red had come off.  We finally decided to buy new ones, so never had to figure it out.

Good call REV, I was going to fix my old ones up, then decided not to. Why waste an awesome paint job with old badges? New crisp emblems await my Challenger.  :D

it seems that the "426 HEMI" emblems are prone to brake between the 426 and the hemi... it don't help the way the factory packages them.. they use 3 pieces of foam instead of one long piece for support..like I said mine are new just two small places in the red.

here is a picture of the first set that was sent to me

from two different dodge dealers.....the first got a set in but was broken and never was able to get another set

the other dodge dealer sent me the set in the picture first but had another set so they sent them out..which has two small scratches

i'm afraid to send these back cause i might get another broken set....

Mike I would think if you repainted the entire painted areas on both emblems rather than doing touch up no one would know that they may not be the original red, but certainly someone ought to know the paint code for them?? That sure is a shabby packaging job, especially for something that cost that amount!

360: Yip sure makes a car look "extra" good  :D

BIGMIKE: I doubt you'll be able to find the exact colour by searching google etc as the screen colour may vary to the way it looks in person. Have you checked out your local hardware store? I did that well searching for "HEMI Orange" engine paint. Found one close but then discovered the original colour code in Auckland.  :D ;D

Is there enough color on the emblem for the paint
store to scan it and mix a color match ?
