1971 Cuda Project (AC, Dana, 440)
« on: January 22, 2008 - 12:57:00 PM »
I sold this car November, 2006.  I saw it on Ebay last night.  I contacted the owner and he has fallen on hard times and has to sell it.  Thought I'd vouch for the car here.

It is a real BS '71 Cuda, originally an autumn bronze 340/727 console car with black vinyl interior.  The car now has a 440 that runs liked a raped ape, and has a Dana rear.  Original AC car.  All vents/controls/ducts are there, but nothing in the engine compartment.  Standard dash.  Disc brakes.

The trunk needs to be replaced, and there is some rust in the lower quarters and fenders, but the floor and frame are solid.  I believe the car was factory undercoated, but there is no fender tag or broadcast sheet to prove it.

I was going to resto-mod it until, ironically, I got laid off and sold it to the current owner.  It is a car worthy of restoration or resto-modding.  Very drivable while being restored.

You had this car on Cudaworld right? I had pictures and contact info saved. It was definitely one I wanted when I got the money. You had sold it by the time I was ready to buy, however.
