See that's why I like 'em - the black will make a great contrast to the white car, and since the black trim in the grill, rear valiance, and hood scoops is all black, it'll all just work together.

Alright I can't find these - can you give me a link to them?  I like 'em...

Jeff

**EDIT**  Nevermind, found 'em - Summit 185 Series, but not nearly enough backspacing - only 3.25 inches.  I gotta measure what's on the 'cuda now, but I don't think that's nearly enough.  They'll hit the quarters in the rear.

I saw them with 3.75 on a 8 inch rim, that will still be tight.  The did have some nice 16 inch 5 stars too for 100 or so a piece.

The middle one is the Rebel from American Racing. It is a great wheel for the money, hcheap and light.
Vintage Wheel Works has some great selections and are relatively cheap.

What year is the Charger?

I personally like the 1st wheel but avoid it just because it looks too "General Lee-ish".  :2cents:  You might start getting, "Gonna make it look like the General???".   That car spoiled a nice wheel for others to use, IMO.

Hate it - looks like every other 5-spoke magnum wheel on just about every other muscle car on the road today.

I'm trying to be different.  I'm also not interested in paying $150 a wheel for something that's gonna be used all of maybe 2-3 years.  I'm almost thinking of going back to the Cragar Soft 8's, except that everyone with a JEEP has a set of those...

I'm leaning back towards the MB Wheels I had up above.  A little steep at $100 a piece, but pretty unique, IMO...

I have a friend who is trying to sell a set of old school turbine wheels. They have been in storage for about a decade. They could use a trip to the glass bead booth, some polish and paint. Asking price is a reasonable $150 for the set, 15x7 with the large bolt pattern.

Another, definetly different wheel is late model Chrysler 300C wheels. I looked at a set of take offs at my local tire store that were very good looking on their own, have no idea how they would look on your Cuda. $400 for a set of four 18x7.5 with 5.5" back space and a 114.3 bolt pattern, which means they could fit without mods. However, the big caveat is that not all of these late model  wheels have the same back space. Another set of 300C wheels I looked at were 6.5" of back space with the same 18x7.5 dimensions. So definetly measure them before plunking down cash.

I slid by with the 'truck wheels' on my car due to they kinda kept a low key w/o the chrome and my black stripe ties in there.

Dude I really like the look of your wheels in your siggy.  That's a lot like what I'm going for.  I think with a white car and the black trim pieces, the black wheels wheel look real nice - I like the chrome ring to give that little bit of contrast.  I think they'll look great.  I think I'm buying one in the next few weeks to do a test fit.

I'm not 100% on this but I think that the newer 300c cars are 115mm bolt pattern.  I read somewhere that it may place a little stress on the studs, I could be wrong....  :dunno:

Could be. I didn't torque down the lugs, nor check the pattern with a tape, but I was able to stick a 4.5" bolt pattern disc rotor into it. I also noticed that some would allow the bearing cap to come through, others would not. So again, they are an off the wall choice that requires careful scrutiny.

Hey me again!

Okay, I got this now...  I found a wheel very similar to the one a few posts up that I liked but were very expensive.  The similar wheel is much cheaper, in fact cheaper than the "new design" I posted a bit back.

Here's the new wheel:

And then I found a site that can impose the wheels on a car, but of course, it has no ebodies...  The closest was a Chevelle.  Forgive the car, but see the wheels...
