Anyone know of any good Chevy sites?
« on: January 25, 2008 - 09:44:25 AM »
I KNEW that would get your attention.

Before you become an unruly mob and try to do me bodily harm, or excommunicate me, let me explain.

I have various cars, and have decided that I want to get rid of the Chevies, and concentrate solely on getting my Mopar projects done. So I am looking for a decent Chevy site, where I might find some buyers. I'm a member at Chevytalk.org, and they are huge, but they don't allow you to post a vehicle for sale unless you are a supporting (paying) member. I know I'll never find a site as good as CC.com, but I'd like to find one that is very popular, and doesn't restrict the non-paying members.

So, does anyone know of such a site?

Oh, yes, one more thing. Please forgive me for the post.

What kind of Chevies?    :clueless:  I would look for specific forums so they can appreciate that car more.  A Vette forum might not appreciate a Nova as much and therefore you might get less $$$ for the car, etc...

Any with LS1 engines? http://www.ls1.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=35

If those do not work, you could always try craigslist.org  It may not be the best place to sell stuff, but it is free.   :dunno:

:roflsmiley: :smilielol: :roflsmiley:

It took seven responses before someone actually threw a small shot out there  :wow:

I think we all deserve a round of applause  :clapping:

I'd be curious as to how many responses it would take in a Chevy forum, if asked a question about a good Mopar forum before a shot was taken?

:thinkerg: You may have to do a small experiment when you finally find an appropriate Chevy forum there jeryst.

My guess? .........first response  :villagers:

Reminds me when I went to a Shelby car show at Tasca Ford and a guy pulls in his Plymouth Satelite in the middle of the parking lot asking, "Where's all the Mopars?"  :roflsmiley:   :scared:  He even popped the hood too!  :smilielol:

Was that you, hedkace???  :roflsmiley:  :smilielol:

As per your question, you can find scrap metal prices here:
http://www.metalprices.com/

In all seriousness, though, why not post them here, as well. We do get all types coming through the forum, including people who have an interest in other marques.
