Close, but no cigar..... yet  .  We're super close to having this back on the road, hopefully getting it to the muffler shop Thursday or Friday, which will be the last big piece.  Workwise all that's left is to install the rallye dash, a few pieces of weather stripping, hood blackout, argent on the rear, and RT side stripe.

It's so close to being done I can almost taste it.  The only things left besides a final clean are the RT stripes (just got them in the mail today), and the argent on the rear panel.  These pictures are just after the new exhaust and tips were put on.

It's almost finished!!!  :woohoo: I brought it back home yesterday to break it in over the weekend.  I went to a local Mustang sponsored show and took 3rd place in their Vintage (1960-79) category, losing out to a custom 67 Chevelle Street Rod and a near Rotisserie 64 1/2 Stang convertible.  Not bad for it not even being totally completed.  The stripes are on, the interior and dash finished, and engine bay cleaned up.  All that's left is to paint the rear panel, but we're just waiting for the paint to come in next week.

What a great feeling!!  I am pretty close to getting on the road myself.  I am probably going to put a black stripe and hood decal on it as well.  It originally had a small factory white penstripe but I think black will look better.  Take care!

Well, the car has been done for a couple weeks, but I finally got around to taking a couple more final pics.  I would just like to thank Craig Huls at Huls Auto Works outside Dallas for the incredible work that he has done on my baby.  Many times he went way above and beyond what I could have ever hoped for.  You can check out the full resto on my car, along with several others he is doing, at www.hulsautoworks.com.  Sorry for the plug but I am also the one that put his website together.  Anyways, enjoy:
