    Man,  that Cuda is going to look awesome when completed.
    I really like that RED....
    I was also thinking about buying those Firestone Firehawks..

    I know, I wanted to take it for a drive too but 2 things kept me from it. 

    No windshield & Open headers!   :bigsmile:

    I did get some more done this weekend, hood is on.  Still needs adjusted but it's on.  Grill is in, still need the chrome rings installed - ordered new keepers today.  Also ordered new front bumper brackets, already have a new Year One bumper still in the package.  Also ordered a 3" TTI exhaust with the chrome tips welded on.   :money: OUCH!  Should sound killer though when I get it installed.

    Also got a ride in my buddies new 08 Chally!  He had it up to 125 down the highway in no time at all.  I need one!

    WOW. I have been reading through this whole thing. This looks like one badass Cuda'.  Hopefully you will be done soon so that you can finaly take her for a spin!  :burnout:

    Oh and where did you find your rear sway bar parts?

    Oh man - I can't wait to get to that point - it's what keeps me going getting through to body and blocking part!! Sounds like you had them do all the dirty work and you get the fun part!!!
    I've done a couple of these and I thought the next time I get to this point I'd put it on a bog piece of carpet with underlay! That way it'd be clean, warm and less likely to scrath parts dragging them across the floor!
    Are all you parts new? Looks like it. How much is new vs. refurbed?
    We want pics every step of the way!

    BTW - that right rear wheel looks kinda small....

    Thanks  Dave!  The rear sway bar is stock, I just cleaned it up, painted it and put it back on after the body was completed.

    I ordered complete TTI exhaust for her, hope for it to be here next week so I can run the engine without making my neighbors think the world is coming to an end!  Then I can work on getting it ready to take for her maiden voyage.

    Mine was a 59k mile car to start with so a lot of the parts are originals that were cleaned up/painted.  Interior was nice, just needed new front seat covers & head liner.  The drive line is a mix of new/original but most is not stock to this car as it was a 318 - 3 speed manual car from factory but it was a BS23 Cuda.  I started out going to just get a 440 put in but went a little crazy and ended up with the 600 ft lb torque monstor you see now.  Also switched out the 3 speed for a A-833 four speed originally out of a 69 Road runner.  And yes I know the rears are a little narrow!  I plan on putting at least 15x8" rims and  some P275-60 rubber on the back, should help!

    Looks great Husker,  :ylsuper:  you guys getting to this stage on your projects sure is a motivation for the rest of us. Mine is a 76K orignal but 76K of abuse and 35 years of neglect can do quite a number on even the lowest mileage of these cars. Sitting in a field for 15 years doesn't help much either. You're having puppies over this I bet and I wouild be too, can't wait to see you get-er-done.  :2thumbs:
