Just my opinion but the black stripe on bearcuda's looks cool. White would be kinda Starsky and Hutch. Go wing would look good in semi-black.  :grinyes:

I think with the black tail panel & interior the black hockey stripe is the way to go although I did like Farmboy 70's 73 Cuda with the factory black stripe on it.  Finished up hooking up all the wiring under the dash & set my fuse panel in the firewall tonight.  Hooked up all the heater control cables & vent cables.

Mike that is going to be one nice ride when you get it back together. Don't get in to big of a hurry or you will burn yourself out putting it back together. I never realized how far you were tearing the car apart till I seen these pictures. I love the hockey stripe and think it will look great on your Cuda. If I make it back to Nebraska this summer I'll try and look you up and check out you Cuda in person.

Hey Mike, here is a photoshop I did when I was looking at buying Dave's car, I was gonna change the stripe and put on Rallye Wheels. Don't laugh at the my work...lol, i'm not good at using photoshop, the car sold before I even finished.    :poopoke:  But you can get an idea what it will look like anyway...lol.

FWIW Husker Cuda, I really like the factory type 73-74 stripe.  When I paint mine, I plan to put it back on the car. It helps break up the red better IMHO.  When finished, I hope mine looks as good as the car Farmboy70 just sold.

As you can see, I still have a long way to go .

71340RT, you are always welcome if you make it to NE this year.  Love your cars!  I kinda went nuts after I got her home but will probably slow down a little probably due to running out of cash after paying for the paint work.  Is it just me or are body shops the worst part of doing restorations?  Anyway it's home now and probably worth the wait and hassle.

I started out thinking I was just going to clean up the engine bay and paint the top end of the 318, now you see the results!

1Badfish, Love your photoshop picture.  That looks exactly like I want mine to look.  I haven't decided if I want ralley wheels or the Road wheels.  I was thinking about 15x8 on the back and 15x7's on the front.   :ylsuper:

74 340 4speed, I like Dave's 73 also, the black stripe on that car looks great as well.  I still may put that stripe on mine.  I'm not going to decide until I have the rest of the car about put together.  If you make yours look like Dave's you will really have something!  All it takes is lots of time and even more  :money:  Hang in there!
