Proportion valve leaks.
« on: January 27, 2008 - 07:33:38 AM »
I found a brake fluid spot on the driveway from my 70 chall, after a long search I found fluid leaking from what I presume to be the proportion valve or parts there of,it is the small brass block that divides the two front brake lines, the thing that is leaking is a little valve dohiky that sits under this block, you can push this little prong in and out a smidgen and feel the thing is all wet, does any one know what this valve does,if it does nothing I will just braze it up to stop it piddling on my garage floor.

I think you are referring to the low pressure sensor for the dummy lite on your dash. I think it's busted if you can push it in.
