I checked this site while I was looking for a Cuda to buy, and ended up reading some of the posts. The vibe here was very unlike many of the automotive sites I visited. It was friendly and helpful and very welcoming compared to the BS, bravado and Fast and Furious language on some of the others.
I noticed guys like Chryco who was always ready to help with experiece or even labor if he could, and guys like Moparal who would rather give a guy a rare part to get their car going than sell it for more than it is worth on Epay. These guys are not the exception here. I read the Cudaguy stuff, and it blew me away.
All of you guys are the real deal. It felt like a bunch of the car guys (and gals) i hung around with in my misspent youth were talking and helping each other out. Some of us can't even afford a project car, and some of us have a stable of real Hemi cars - and nobody seems to care which side you come from. This site is growing and will probably change a bit, but as long as we have each others back and remember that keeping these cars alive and rolling down the highway is the whole point, I think we will be OK.
I know! I talk too much.
Thanks for letting me play too.
