1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

It looks like the block has mounting ears for both a Hemi and a 440 type mounts.
Dave

You got it
the repro Hemi Block DO NOT come with both mount types , you can order the block either way, Hemi or 440 mount  , the problem here is that the block with 440 ears virtually cannot be mounted in a normal car , the side of the block is not machined for normal Hemi mounts & the 3 holes for the mount are not drilled or positioned for you , this took hours to correct , I had to find another hemi block & take measurements to position the height & for & aft postion of the mounts & then drill & tap the block , the right mount had to be ground off level to move the mount closer to the block & the left side needed spacers to hold the mount away from the block where too much had been machined away. The other issue was having to trim off the ears on the left side to clear room for the exhaust , both headers & manifold interfere with the 440 ears
If you are odrdering a Hemi block make sure you specify the type of block you need

:faint: I would have never guessed that...   :faint:

All that trouble to get that engine in there...

I would have gladly taken that engine off your hands and given you a 383 that would've popped in there easier!!!  :roflsmiley:  :grinyes:
