seems the 11.75" rotor can be used with the appropriate adapter & caliper

the 11.75" rotor will fit & uses the saem caliper but you need the taller caliper adapter ,, Scarebird has them available

The caliper brackets fits any disc brake spindle. However, they bracket wasn't offered until the late 70s until around the mid 80s on large sized cars and heavy duty/police and taxi applications so they werent' available on everything.

Shop around. Post a wanted ad here and on moparts. However, some people think these things are worth gold and I've seen asking prices upwards to $100 a pair. They aren't that valuable. I'll keep my eyes open too as I occasionally run across them in my visits to salvage yards.

does Scarebird have the mount for the slider type caliper instead of the pin type , you can easily get different rebuilt calipers

the caliper brackets you are looking for are found on 73 - 78+1/2 B-bodies.  They switched to the slider calipers mid-78 (same as A and FJM and R)

Hi Guys.

I think at it going to be a success.

Spindels from `74 Challenger
I got the caliper brackets from a 74 roadrunner
The Rotors from 78 Chrysler Cordoba 11,75"
The calipers and horses from `74 Challenger.

What do you guys say are that all wrong  :jumping:

Thanks

Dennis

Sorry, but since when did the 74 roadrunner have 11 3/4" brakes? Off the top of my head those caliper brackets wont work with 11 3/4 rotors. Ill have to re-read the article. I'm running 11 3/4s on my cuda, setup from a cordoba

Hi Guys

After a check up at the parts store are I`m not sure with the caliper brackets. As I can see are the not possible to get 11,75" rotors on a `74 road runner. The same GoodysGotaCuda write.

What do you guys says ?

Thanks

Dennis

The article states

"The factory finally got their act together in 1976 with the introduction of the 11.75" unicast police rotors....."

So i would certainly start lookin from there.

"...You'll also need a pair of rotors and caliper adapters (a.k.a. brackets) from most any '76-'79 B-body or 79-up R-body (St. Regis, etc.) "

Hope it helps
