The way it works is you donate towards the funding of the tent, or bring supplies or a dish or two to offset the cost.

In my case...I only needed to show my pretty face to lighten the day.   :misbehaving:

It's all good - I think there was just a misunderstanding somewhere.

There's no drama at Carlisle - unless of course you're selling parts without Mother Mopar's permission!!!  :)

Al, you're part of the gang, and I'll cook for you just as gladly as I cook for anyone else.  Just promise me that if you DO show up, we'll have a beer together.

I know this is a hard question to nswer but I will ask anyway

How do people ensure their cars are secure at the hotel? Is there an security? If not - can we get together as a group and hire someone for two or three days? Right now I think taking a tent and camping by the car is a best bet but could make me and the wife lonely at night. Ideas or suggestions anyone???

In the past, members have taken turns keeping watch.  This year I'll probably be one of those assisting with this effort.

We hang out in the parking lot at night by the Hotel. The area where we park is out of view from any road. We have never had any problems there.

Yes I agree that the lot we park in has very limited traffic and has been fine for all the years I've been going.  I sleep at night while I'm there and the car is sitting outside as I feel it's safe.    :grinyes:

I tried to cancel my room today since we cant come and when i called the hotel they had no listing for our club or mike or me .I think you all who are coming better call to confirm your reservation and mike also.

If you get it straight mike i will not be coming and i told them if they find my reservation in the computer to cancel but that leaves another single room for you all.
