HEADS UP,

I'm going to cancel the unused rooms on Tuesday, so if you are sitting on the fence... time for a decision.   :thinkerg:

I just now found out that I am 183 miles north of the show right now. But I cant reserve a room. Maybe if I am lucky and I time it right, they will have a room for thursday night and friday night. Thats if I finish up here on wednesday afternoon. I will not have a ride to the show though. Maybe I can hitch a ride with a member if I can make it.

Al, you won't be able to find a room  in Carlisle, but there are still rooms at the cc.com motel.  I am sure somebody will be happy to give you a ride.

Hey Al,

If all else fails, I have a queen-sized air mattress at my apartment - you're welcome to crash at my place and you can always ride with me.

Well , as of right now, cancel all my plans. I just left the plant here and a job undone. Yeah they're mad at me but.....oh well.

Lead/arsenic plant :banghead:  Not enough safety implemented for me to work there. I don't work around poison without it being decomtaminated. So now I have to drive 400 miles east on I-80 back to a town close to Toledo, Ohio. Through thursday. . Wont even get there untill late this evening.

I told this plant I left that not one single employee from my company will be back to work in there plant untill our safety office personell makes a trip there to work with their safety people to make conditions right.

The job I am going to now, I have been told sucks also, but no poison.

Sorry gang.      I am also going to have to bypass my parts in N.C. untill my break.

It is funny how that plant thought they could controll me and I put it straight to them. There maint men were glad to see I stuck up to them since they must be missing their kahoonahs or something. They just smiled, waved and cheered when I hooked up and tossed the worn out work clothes and nasty rubber boots at the main gate.   My work backed me up too.

wish I could see you guys, but it doen't seem possible. I am already in PA. driving down 380 and 14 miles from I-80 now :burnout:

Wow Al,
Sorry to hear that.  :swear: :stomp: I know you will be missed. Glad you stood up to that company. There's no sacrifice for safety. It's that one time you decide to look the other way that gets ya!! Have a safe trip Al!! If you ever make your way through eastern Virginia, let me know. I'd love to meet ya and buy you a steak!! :2thumbs:

It should be interesting this year. Myself and 4C will be the only main-stays at the Hotel from previous years. We got some green horns to share the fun with this year.   :cooldancing:  I can't wait!!   :jumping:
