I answered in your other post...But if enough people want to jump on board again, I'll book a block of rooms there.

Have you actually booked this yet, MEK?

Mek, If you do this again, can I just send you a check to you and you cash it for my room. This way, if I dont make it there, you could give my room to someone else and if I do, then it would be paid for. I never know with my job.

Al,

I will take a check from you, or whatever cash you have laying around.   :naughty:

Seriously, the way it works is...I will book a block of rooms with a single king-size bed, and rooms with 2 queen size beds. In the past the price was the same either way. You call them and tell them you are part of Cuda-Challenger.com, and you reserve one of our rooms with your credit card. If you have to bail out, I believe you have a 24 hour window before check-in to do so. We always seems to have more rooms in reserve than we need, so dont feel like somebody will get shut out here.

Correct, but if you noticed, (which you didn't,) I quoted a post you made on December 08, 2008.  People are using this thread to begin planning for the '09 show.

Hey Jeff,

If i remeber correctly from the old threads about Carlisle.............

The way i am reading your Prelim.   It reads as if you did everything and organised the whole event ?    I know you flipped burger patties, but who made the Potato salad at an un-godly time of the morning ? supplied beer ? coolers ? Posters ? ................. I really think it is not nice that you pick out one person in the way you did after they did so much, with out much in the way of a thankyou posted for there contribution.

You may have done this in a jestured manner, but people do have feelings and somethings are taken to heart.  I would suggest a better tact for next time you decide to have fun with peoples emotions.

Just my :2cents:

Awww Kenny . . I'm sure viperman is just playin' and I'm sure MEK knows that. He take the razzin' pretty well.    :grinyes:   MEK wouldn't know what to do with himself without some razzin' from cc.com.  lol  Looks like a pretty fun plan to me but I haven't said I was going yet?   :dunno:

Yikes there, Ken.  I don't see how I gave that impression at all.  First of all, this wasn't detailing what happened at '08 - this was a joke as to what would happen in '09.  All I said was "ViperMan cooks burgers" (which my wife helped me make at 12:30 AM) and that Jackie would show up late and I'd have to make more (which actually did happen in '08) - but that was just a joke.

Also remember that I made the "pink dog house" for MEK last year which - though yeah was just sortuva joke - was something I took the time to make and decorate for him to show some appreciation and general friendship.

I wasn't trying to claim ownership of anything - just making some jokes for 2009 based on experiences from '08 and from some people who are planning to attend this year.

I'm sure if MEK were to have made a "schedule," he'd probably have some "razzing ViperMan" activities which would probably be funnier than anything I came up with!  I took a decent beating last year!  :)

I do apologize if this offended anyone.  I was just having fun off the comment that Matt made.

Jeff

P.S.  And I told you Dave - you always say you "might" go and then you always go, so yes I'm assuming you're going to be there again.    ;)

:faint:   Drama :smilielol:     If I make it, count me in as to helping out with who ever needs me.  But also leave the drama at the gate.  And please dont anyone go out of the way for me.  If there is food , I may eat, but I'm just going to be there just to meet everyone, shake a few hads, and give a few hugs.
