My tree had to come down because with over 600 lights on it, it was "fixin'" to become a fire hazard - it was gettin' pretty dry.

I'd love to grow a tree indoors that I could keep decorated year-round.  'Course it would also be hung with blue and white lights in the fall to commemorate PennState Football season...  :)

This one of my pet peeves also.  :2thumbs:

I have two neighbors who leave their Christmas lights up year-round.  It least they don’t turn them on every night.  One has colored lights that have been up so long all the paint has fallen off so now they are white lights.  The other has Icicle Lights, so during the summer it looks ridiculous.  :villagers:

I put mine up Thanksgiving weekend and take them down the weekend after New Year, and I put up a lot of lights and yard decorations.
