Wondering what a small block alum. case four speed is worth. Just the trans no bellhousing,shifteror rods.

depends on the length. The A/F body ones generally are worth more than the Truck ones (b/e body rear shaft).
They are getting much more popular as gas prices climb. 2 years ago, I couldn't unload a truck one until the price hit 50 bones...

The mount is at the rear but does have one at the front also

yeah, you have the truck OD trans. Can go in a B or E body. Good working condition? Saw a setup go for about $200 on ebay a few weeks ago...
