Rocker Gill Installation
« on: January 29, 2008 - 05:20:48 PM »
Hi all,

I have a '73 Cuda that I have been thinking about installing some rocker panel gills on, but I can't find anything that details how they are actually attached to the vehicle...screws, clips, etc.  If clips are used, what kind do I need?

Thanks!

Thanks, Mike.  I hope to have some pics up within the next couple weeks, I was trying to get the original tach working and fried some of the wiring, so it's in the pros hands now.

Some of them are fiberglass but the Dales Cuda Shop set I bought is molded from the original type plastic.  They came painted in a silver color which was a little "bright" for argent and I repainted them.  They look nice, but I don't know how they will fit until my car comes out of hibernation.  They were slightly warped on both ends.  Since they use a screw every foot, they should lay down fine.  If it really bothers me I could use the heatgun on them.
