:iagree: fit the doors up aswell, little more work for a lot more satisfaction knowing it is right.

What some time happens aswell is the quarter may need pulling in or out at the door center edgr to get the curve correct with the door.  Make sure you use a straight edge and run it up & down the door and quarter edge to check the alignment.

Looking more and more like a car old mate............. Very cool :ylsuper:

I plan to put the doors on the car saturday. Sorry I forget to mention they are just a bit to heavy for me to hold and thread bolts in, luckily I got my dad to help me.

I just read the whole thread what an awesome effort. You should be doing this for a job your workmanship would show up some of the professionals i have seen. Your car is going to be great when it gets finished. My challenger is black and it looks great that colour but it is a nightmare to keep clean.

Purdue eats up all my time. But there is some serious progress, so I'll try to post it up sometime this week.

Alright so as the story goes, I was wrestling with sheet metal all of last summer and nothing was fitting.  I was a one man show the most of the time except when friends would show up with their cars (included in pics).  So finally after much humbling, I decided to send the car off to Pennsylvania to have just the body finished and painted and then sent back for reassembly to one of the board members here Dave, (farmboy70).  He came in with the most reasonable quote out of everyone I went to and was the most knowledgeable.  So as the summer came to an end and I had to head back to school I loaded the car onto a trailer and wished it well on its maiden voyage.

So now Dave has the car up in PA still and has made some great progress on it.  I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
