This last post for today has got to be one of my favorites.  The guy from the blaster dropped off a cart to get the chally onto.  I don't know where my sudden spur of genius came from to get this car onto the cart, but once I committed it was to late.  If you look at the pictures you'll notice the jack in the front and jack in the back.  I forgot to realize the car would be balancing from these two points! Very sketchy, in fact the car just about rolled off the jacks.  It makes me laugh lookin at it now, could of turned out horrible!!!  :roflsmiley:

It's funny to me that these cars are so old that guys half my age are restoring em.  Especially considering they were built ten years prior to my birthday.

Nice to know that there will remain a market for our challengers. Bravo Kid

I hate to be the stick in the mud here, but you better stop what you are doing, and get a legal title for the car if your state requires one. Otherwise, a lot of things could happen that you won't like. Suppose the car turns out to be stolen, or salvaged. It could be impounded by the police, or the original owner could have the right to get it back. All the hard work and money you put into it will be lost. I can't stress this enough. If you are not the legal owner of the car according to your state laws, don't spend any money on it. I realize you are young, and for that reason, you may not realize what could happen, and you need the benefit of our experience. Don't take the attitude that you'll worry about getting it registered when the car is done and you are ready to drive it. If something is not right, it is better to lose the initial investment, than to lose ten or twenty times that amount.

How about it guys? We not only have to encourage the young guys, we have to help protect them as well.

:iagree:  You'd better get the paperwork taken care of asap.  The Feds and Local PD really frown upon cars w/o titles or registrations.  Also, it would really be a shame if, when you do go to get the car on the road after spending tons of time and money, that you find out the car is on a Hot List somewhere.  The former owner would end up getting the car back with all of YOUR hard work and money into HIS newly restored car.

You may need to put the dash and doors(If it has a vin sticker) back on befoe you have it looked at by the police they sometimes frown on inspecting separate parts. :2cents:  Make some phone calls on Monday.

Great start good luck..
