Re: My Cuda's restoration update!! Now have new headliner
« Reply #18 on: March 05, 2008 - 06:11:55 PM »
Just updating this post. I replaced the headliner and it was very painful. The metal where the headliner rods mount had corrosion and a metal piece had to be frabricated. Also discovered roof was from another car. In any event the headliner is finally in and although not perfect it looks much better than the torn original. I also changed the hood bumpers and interior pillar posts and some other small items. I also replaced the tag frame 'anal beads'  :roflsmiley: In any event it's slowly looking much better in the interior. I hopefully will replace this year the dash cap with a dash pad, new gauges and the steering wheel. Here are a couple of pics of the roof interior.

Well here is a small update....Changed t-shifter to pistol grip style shifter for my automatic .  I will soon add the shifter plate and console shifter lense to give it a fresher look. Hopefully will add the dash pad this year as well. It's a slow road but it will get there one day.

A small update

Just adding a small update to this post. I rust proofed my trunk and repainted it. I swapped my steering wheel with a smaller wheel from Summit. And finally removed my horrid battery tray and replaced it with  a repo one from the Paddock.
