« on: February 15, 2004 - 02:31:05 PM »
I thought I would start a thread that show everyone that currently has a car under construction.

Streetchallenged73 ~ I have decided to go Plum Crazy, as many of you can see, and also decided to go with a black vinyl top....It came from the factory with one and it'll still looks cool! not too much has happened with my '73 lately.  I've started the long haul of smoothing out the body to prepare it for some paint hopefully before I leave for college in the fall.

REV-IT-UP ~ 1970 Challenger R/T SE in Calypso Red (BMW color)

Popeye ~ 1971 cuda convert - yellow/black

videomagician ~ 1972 440 challenger - black/black I can't WAIT for all that red oxide primer to be history on mine - I'll be ending up with black.

wheels ~ black/74 Challenger, 318/904/292's+- Black... maybe Red or Gun metal silver Soon to have 380 horse, 360 crate motor, built 727, 3.55 sure grip, and some fatty wheels

Lemonboy69 ~ '69 Barracuda (was honey gold with tan vinyl top and black interior)... turning into Intense Blue, no vinyl top, black racing buckets with diamond plated door panels and chrome rims... 300+rwhp.....currently, a "hunk of metal sitting in the garage" per my mother...

lemon71fish ~ My 71 383 was autumn metallic brown with a black vinyl top, cant really tell what color it is now... cant really tell what it is at all... have been working day and night, in 3-4 months hoping to have a beautiful lemon twist yellow cuda w/ black billboards, possibly intakes on hood painted black, removed the vinyl and its staying that way, also might add a go-wing to the set up.

oldvamoparfan ~ 72 Challenger 360, 3.91 SG, TQ, headers, 2.5 pipes, slapstick console, have rally hood, cutout rear valance, fender gills, plan to paint hemi orange w/ black strobe stripes.  Plan to get rest of needed goodies at Charlotte next month.

onefornow ~ 1) '73 Rallye now in primer. Going to original colors - white vinyl top/interior with JY3 for the body and black strobe stripes. Looks like it'll be in fresh primer for Carlisle... 2) '70 RT/SE now in some type of bluish purple glittery goop and lots of rust. Going to original colors - black vinyl top with black and white houndstooth cloth and vinyl seats, FC7 for the body and white longitudinal RT stripes. New fuel line clips from Inline Tube are on the way for the 73 as well as a rust free trunk lid courtesy of ebay. She's been on jack stands in my driveway since August (LAST August) due to water in the gas tank - seeing JB Weld on the tank when you remove it is so not a good sign  Been gathering parts; some ordered new, some from ebay, some from folks on this site. Ya's know who you are and i really appreciate it . Next week i'll be wire wheeling the underside and coating it before the new fuel system goes on, then new brakes and wheel bearings.

71'cuda340 ~ Don't forget me!  1971 Plymouth 'Cuda  340  It's currently at the paint shop getting painted orange.  Then I'm going to add some black billboard stripes on it myself.

cuda340-73 ~ '73 cuda 340.  I bought it to do a "quick resto" in 1999 and I'm finally getting around to it this year (having 3 kids age 6 and under doesn't leave much spare time!) It was originally Y1 Lemon Twist and that's what it will be when I'm done. Tonight I was looking at a bit of bodywork I did over the weekend and my daughter said "Dad, I can't wait 'till it's yellow!"  Tell me about it...

Transamcuda.com ~ 70 AAR Cuda Tor-Red 4 speed. 47,000 original miles. Bought off original owner. Motors & tranny done. Now if I could find a bodyman who will finish what he starts!!!!

Kellyscuda ~ 1974 cuda....missing most of the interior but the seats are there....working hard on the drive train ,just finished  putting in a 69 440

Don ~ As of right now I am in the process of removing 3 coats of paint from my 71 challenger RT. I plan to roll it outside tomorrow (5-15-05) and take some pictures that I'll post on the board. When finished it will be painted either bright orange or bronze metalic. I haven't decided yet.

Todd383 ~ I got a 383 70 R/T chally, that is a rotissorie resto, it is originally hemi orange, black top black bumble bee , and black treatment on hood , body work is completd ,  just alot of sanding and blocking. motor is not stock, just wanted something different. hopefully another year might be done.

Chal-70 ~ 70 Challenger, Living in the Netherlands, Europe and since 2 months the proudly owner of my all time dreamcar The previous owner had stripped the car for a paintjob when i bought her.. Now i've givin her a new coat and started to build her up again.. Engine for the time being is a 318
