Thanks Guys. NZ its actually just me. My all my dad did was spray the color on the engine compartment so far. I been trying to get this painless wiring figured out, time consuming. Especially when its 30 degrees you fingers and face are numb you start to loose motovation...

Wow I'm dizzy from all the work goin on! :worship:
Add  a pair to the list.
73 barracuda, was cloned to resemble a cuda when i bought it,was brown with white interior & had a 360/727, will be E7(burnished red metallic) with black interior to match the 74/360 'Cuda i had way back when!
The 74 I picked up this year is a 360'Cuda, 727  B5 blue w/ blue interior, A/C  car but no fender tag, if I ever finish the 73 I will try & do this one up as close to original as funds will allow. Rich.
top is the 73 as purchased bout 4 yrs ago, funny it looks better the the 74 below, but was a serious cancer victom!

I'm gonna just save some some time here and just cut and paste this over from the other site I visit most lately, http://www.moparnuts.com.

BTW: My car is a '72 318/AT/PS/PB, 8.75 w/SG (ratio unknown right now) with front disk brakes and most of the RT parts but it's not a RT Challenger (that I know of). It also has the Rally guages and some kind of boxy tape deck thingy, with a mic plug in it, mounted to the center console. I just bought the car before Christmas (along with another 72 parts car) and had it shipped to my friends dads body shop in PA. When he gets it inside the shop the rust repair will begin. After that's complete, I'm going to fly there and get it running and then ship it here to Puerto Rico. I'll keep working on it a little at a time until I get stationed back in the US and I'll be able to get the big parts of the project completed. Shipping big and heavy over stuff here is way too EXPENSIVE!!! :ack:

I plan on using a lot of the engineering and design elements of both the R/T and the T/A Challengers, some other ideas from the AAR Cuda as well as some new technology stuff thrown in as well. I have no use for fender tags, build sheets or numbers matching anything. I want it to PERFORM. There's enough musem quality resotrations that never see anything but the back of a trailer and the car show circut. I plan on driving this car so I want it solid, fast and comfortable.

The specs will be something like:
Engine - 500ci all aluminum RB engine with EFI. PS, PB, AC
Trans - TF727 w/ GV OD or I may use a newer A518 w/elec OD & BB Adv Adapter plate
Axle - 8&3/4"rear with HD aluminum carrier and rear housing brace
Brakes - Wilwood big disks all the way around
Hood - FG T/A repop
Wing - Go Wing (not gull wing)
Chin Spoiler - Custom chin spoiler similar to the AAR but will wrap around toward the front wheel openings.
Rear window - Louvers. anyone know where to get a repop? I ain't spending $900 for NOS or used!
Body - As much FG as possible. '70-'71 fenders, f/r valances and trunk lid
Grill - '70 type but pulled out to the front like a Charger 500
Doors - FG using Electric Life PW kit and shaved handles with electric door poppers
Windows - 1/8" Speedglass, tinted
Dash - Regular guage cluster w/aftermarket guages (no wood grain), Recover '70 dash (3 spkr/AC) in grey vinyl, modern stereo
Seats - Modern sport buckets (Recaro, Momo, Carrera etc...), sport seat belts (not a true 5pt harness)
Interior - Carbon Fiber for console and door inserts, redo all plastic panels, carpet and headliner in grey
Misc - roll cage (tight to body), minitubs, side exhaust (think early Viper), taillight panel and tailights replaced ('70), quarter side lights replaced with '70-'71 style, move gas cap to driver side and use a flush fliptop type cap (think sport bike style)

This is a rough outline of my ideas for the Challenger. Definately going to be a one of a kind, yes?

Since I'm stationed in Puerto Rico at the moment I'm just going to get the unibody solid and then get it running first. I had the cars shipped to my friends dad's body shop in PA so I haven't seen them in person. I have lots of pics though and the complete car is actually black (mostly) with a white/gold interior and the parts car is green with a green interior. I will probably just get the car painted with a flat black primer/sealer until I get all the body mods complete. Then, hopefully by late spring or early summer, I'll have it shipped here and use it for a daily driver and weekend project to get as much done as I can while keeping the car running. Did I mention that the shipping is ridicoulously (sp?) high for bulky and/or heavy items coming to PR? I will keep working on the small stuff like the spoiler, f/r valances, some interior stuff etc. done while it's over here. When I return to the US (2 more years) I'll be starting on the heavyweight mods to the car.

BTW: Heres an interior shot of the car.

Thanks Kelly,

It is tough to make it happen from over here but the perservierence (sp?) will pay off in the end.

Here's a shot of the car engine bay. If you look at it the spark plug hole threads are shiny. They were removed and Marvel Mystery oil was added to each cylinder. After letting is sit for a week, it was turned over with a breaker bar (fairly easily  ;) ) on the crank, to make sure it wasn't locked up. It's a 318 2bbl in there now and is probably the original engine. I'm not really sure if it is or not and don't really care either way. I may add a 4bbl carb, dual plane intake, cam and headers before bringing the car over here just to make sure it can get out of it's own way ;D . It will just get replaced with a BB when I bring it back to the US anyway so I'm not going crazy with it.
