How far ?
« on: February 02, 2008 - 11:54:51 AM »
This is a little bit of a spin off from OldSchools "Smarter than a 5th.grader" thread. :

For all you old coon hunters out there: how far can your black&tan or walker run into the woods?

Think real hard now, it really is a very logical answer.

 :clueless:  What's a "black&tan or walker"?  :clueless:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

:clueless:  I still don't git it?  I thought racoons were gray and black and they don't use walkers?  Althouth I've seen squirrels use them...

:roflsmiley: D@mn, aside from Russ and Al ya guys must all be city slickers  :roflsmiley:  Although there are other breeds a "black&tan" and a "walker" these are coon dogs.  :roflsmiley: Now fer ya city dudes a coon dog is not a racoon evolved into a dog, it is a real dog bred for the sole purpose of hunting / "treeing" coons. Now how far can he run into those woods?

I'll either conferm or answer the lil question later tonight. :2thumbs:

Ohhhhhh...now I get it.  Closest thing to a coon dog I've been around is a corn dog!  :roflsmiley:

Hmmm....they don't run, they walk?  :clueless:  :dunno:

the furthest any one or thing can run into the woods is 1/2 way after that you are running out of the woods

the furthest any one or thing can run into the woods is 1/2 way after that you are running out of the woods

NOPE...  You can go ALL, not ½, the way in, - to the middle, before you'r going out...

½ way in, will be ½ way to the middle..  :clueless:
