71 Challenger R/T sitting since 1985**Pics are in**
« on: February 02, 2008 - 08:23:09 PM »
I know this is a tease, but my buddy had the camera and hasn't sent the pics to me yet. Didn't talk to the owner directly, but to his dad who's property the car was sitting on. It is very, VERY rough but looks like it is all there. It had one 383 Magnum badge on the hood, but the father said it had a 440. The VIN was covered by the clutch pad (yes, it's a four speed too) and the hood looked too bad of shape to lift to see the trim tag. He said he's tried to convince the son to sell it in the past and thinks he might let it go now. I think it might be beyond help, but we'll see. It's been outside a long, long time. Will show pics as soon as he sends them. It was crazy to see a car like that sitting outside rotting.

Ok, here's the pics. It might be saveable, but it's pretty rough. Definitely worth trying to save for a real RT, 383, 4 speed huh?

If it is a complete car it is not too far gone. Anything can be fixed it just depends on how much work you want to put into it. Sounds like a fun car. Good luck.

Dang, too bad.  I wonder what engine came with the car?  Must be a 383 with the callouts.

I'd like to see it.  And I'll be the first.

From what I see it has a choice of option.  Disc Brakes, Vinyl Top, hard to tell what else.

Very cool to see pics like this.  Yes restorable, but how much?  Looks like it need s much work.  It looks like it's on bare ground.

I wonder what has more holes?  :clueless:  :roflsmiley: Swiss cheese or the frame on this car?
